HANDMA was born from the heart and hands of two Salvadoran women: Carmen Elena and Fátima, mother and daughter united by creativity, a love for sustainable fashion, and a desire to make a difference.

For over four years, we’ve been transforming ancestral techniques like macramé and crochet into contemporary, unique pieces full of history. What began as a home-based artisan project has become a registered brand that represents not only style and authenticity, but also a deep social and environmental commitment.

At HANDMA, we primarily work with recycled materials and sustainable textiles, such as t-shirt yarn—a byproduct of the textile industry—that we give new life to. Every bag, accessory, or home item we create is carefully handmade, with exclusive design and a story to tell.

In 2024, we were proud to represent El Salvador at international fashion events in New York, Las Vegas, and Madrid, taking our essence to new horizons without losing our roots.

Today, you can find our creations at stores like Guantap Store in Bambú City Center and Nawii Beach House, or purchase them online through our social media.
